I think it is sharp enough, while not "razor sharp". However, to be frank, I am not used to judging sharpness by viewing a photo on the monitor.

Suyu: How do you usually check the quality of your pics? I know that you use film.
I never print pics, I am thinking to try once. Should I keep in mind sth essential?

For slides, I put them on a light table, and use a 16x loupe to examine the sharpness.
For digital images, I view them at 100%. However, no photo is sharp at 100%, no matter they are from a DSLR or a scanner.

Did you sharpen your photos with software? These two and the one you adjusted WB before all look manually sharpened. I could be wrong. It could be the camera, too. Some digital cameras can auto-sharpen its photos.

For printing, I found that my printer (Epson Stylus Photo) actually produced better quality than Kodak print centers at drug stores or Yahoo photo printing. If you want to print an enlargement, you would really want to go to a professional studio. If you just want 4x6 for casual viewing, Kodak centers are perfectly fine, considering the price of like 29c each and a mere 10 minute wait.

I am learning to use PS for post processing which I have been told essential. Those images may not be well processed. Do you think it somehow artifical?

No, not at all. They are very good and crisp photos. I love them very much indeed. It's just when you asked about sharpness, I looked closely and saw a few dark edges between colors of high contrast. Such "edging" usually occurs when a photo is manually sharpened. It can also occur when a jpeg picture is saved with lower quality settings (higher compression rate for reducing file size). I'm just an amateur PS user, anyway.

No, they don't look sharpened to me. They look very detailed and taken with a very good camera, by a very professional sniper. If you did sharpen them, you've done an excellent job. 牛
