失业率对老中想买的房子，基本上没有影响。
房价的走势到底是什么样，realtor association 有精确的数据，看看就知道了，只不过因为有个 closing date 的原因，pubic 得到这些数据有一些 delay。这是 typical 的 insider 和 outsider 信息不平衡的例子, realtor 挣的就是这个信息费。不过这个 advantage 也就止于此。
Wall street high frequency trader 们其实挣的也是信息不平衡费。所以如果把房子当作 commodity 来买卖呢，就是一般老百姓所谓的投资，没有非常 liquid 的市场和 insider information，肯定是要赔本的。
Realtor 和 customer 在买卖房子这件事上最大的区别，是 realtor 没有感情的投资。
所以又回到了原来的一个命题，一般老百姓买房子和找老婆差不多。Rational thinking 是次要的，只要最根本的 factor 达到了，基本上就是以极端乐观的态度抓一彩票，剩下的都是运气了，很多事情没法计划，因为根本想象不到。即便想象到了也没什么意义，因为 emotion will always talk over, because we are human beings.

Adobe said on Friday that it will have its next version of Flash for Android ready for download on March 18.
Flash 10.2 will be a final release for the Froyo and Gingerbread releases of Android, but will only be a beta for tablets running the new Honeycomb version. Many of the new version’s features are aimed at Honeycomb tablets.
Those Honeycomb-specific features include hardware acceleration for video playback, enhanced browser performance and tighter integration with the browser.
“We have been working very closely with Google to ensure tight integration between Flash Player 10.2 and new OS and browser capabilities in Android 3.0,” Adobe said in a blog post. It said it is working with Google to get the beta running on the Motorola Xoom and will have a final release at a later, unspecified point.
Improving Flash on Android devices is particularly important as Flash support is one of the key advantages that rivals can tout over Apple’s iPhone and iPad, which lack Flash capabilities. Thus far, however, Flash on Android has left much to be desired.
I think a brief example from the Mobilized household illustrates the point. My partner AJ is addicted to a Flash-based Facebook game called SuperPoke Pets where you have to feed and care for a virtual pet and get points for doing that and playing with other people’s pets. Because it requires Flash, neither the iPhone nor the iPad (even the slim new one) is an attractive mobile device. However, because Flash performance has been so laggy on Android devices, none has reached his “must have” list. But I have a feeling we will be buying the first tablet that lets him truly care for Snowflake on the go.

So many experiments to do. The key seems to be to minimize risk. Treat people as 小白鼠 and make them 感恩戴德, that's the definition of philanthropy in the western world.

我顺着Wojian 的建设性思路接着讨论一下。
网络联络这种形式有着本质的缺陷。比如大街的墙上，如果有人乱写乱画，在比较安全的区，可能会有人制止，在黑人区就没人管了。但观众有选择，可以不去黑人区。Facebook 基本上是这个模式，每人自己有面墙，自己可以乱写，别人写的，自己可以擦掉。
但这个形势有个问题，就是发现好的 thread 比较难，需要好的 search engine，或是依靠朋友的小道消息。(Linkedin 也是如此)有些主题超出了自己一面墙的范围，就要新申请一面墙，但每次新申请一面墙，就都会有 advertise 的 overhead.
像生活网，是比较传统的规划方式，分门别类，目的是希望人们在什么场合说什么话。比如在下里巴人版可以说说偷鸡摸狗，在事事关心版可以讨论Big O 增税之类的。这就好比音乐会上不需聊天儿一个道理。但是这个初衷是好的，对网路这个媒体又不是非常适合。很多人在网上会感觉到一种 false anonymity, 会说一些面对面不大可能说的话。(很有可能面对电脑打字和面对面说话经过的大脑处理不同) 而且网这种东西本来是奠基于自由的信念，有这么多规矩，大家的积极性很受影响。
我觉得应该开拓第三种模式。我有一些想法，但想听听其他人是怎么想的。
