haha, you were there too - why didn't tell me Mad

After the first piece, Wildcrane said"sounds like 'American runs Dunkin'", after the second, she said "like falling sleep in the noisy subway" 狂笑

Wildcrane is genius!! 崇拜 亲一个

I liked her comments but I liked the experiment too! I agree it is not the best music philosophy, but think about Quentin Tarantino VS Kurosawa wink

Laughing Laughing i enjoyed all 3 pieces too.

To be precise, the first one's last movement made me thinking of "American runs on Dunkin". The first piece actually sounds quite nice to me - I like the tempo and it feels like busy city streets full of skylines. Then the little melody in the middle feels like Central Park nestled in the tempoed metro. It gives a breezy and freshness to the first piece.

The 2nd one "city life" makes me feel like being in a subway, or an elevator - anyway clastrophobic(?) - noisy, monotonic - at certain times, I could even feel the motion sickness, and feel that I could smell the smell in subways, and feel that the polluted air due to too many human crowded in a small space. so in philosophy, it's not my orientation, but because the sirens, alarms, monotonic ryhthms, etc. are all what we hear living a city everyday, the piece is intimate. So I said people who are used to these noises and taking subways can fall into sleep among this monotonic noise - and then I found Johann fell into sleep. But because I don't like to be locked in a small space and really don't like to take subway, the smell and the motion sickness, I couldn't fall into sleep.

the 2nd piece almost has no melody. it is simple and quick tempoed and easy to grasp and because the sounds are all everyday noise, they are not abstract but very close and almost concrete in meaning. So that's unique and i like its uniqueness. But is it a piece that I will buy and play over and over? No. It's too much to the nerve. I am a person who would like to go to the metro once in a while, but not everyday.

The 3rd piece, I don't have comment. It is more sophiscated and comparing to the other two, more like music in terms that it has melodys and vocals etc. But I don't really get it. I guess I need to read Daniel.

Anyway, i am not good at music. So it's simply a layman's intuition.
