MALDEN, Mass.—Police say one man was killed and two others were injured in
a shootout in a Malden neighborhood that appears to be an attempted robbery.
Police tell the Malden Evening News they responded to Salem Street just
after midnight on Tuesday and found two men, one on top of the other, in
front of a home suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. One man
was dead and the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A third man was found behind the home, also suffering from a gunshot wound.
That man is believed to be a resident of the home and is licensed to own a
gun. Police say he is expected to survive.
Police did not release names, but said as many as 10 or 11 shots were fired.
Several weapons were recovered at the scene.

今天凌晨的shootout比较猛，数十下枪战惊动了整个街区，地点是223 Salem St, Malden.
两天前(周日半夜)，有个21岁的小伙子在Malden的Eastern Ave街和Wyeth街刚被枪杀，
找这个样子发展下去，和Dorchester, Mattapan(Murderpan)有一拼。

其实Malden二三十年前相当不错，有一片房子(Dexter st)现在看起来也很中产阶级，市长就住在那片。自从橙线地铁修好后，就江河日下，
想到绿线地铁计划2011开通到Medford，真要提前祝福住在Medford的兄弟姐妹们了！
