今天发了少年狂,居然参加了一个45分种的 spinning class

后来才认识到这真是一种折磨。太久没有骑车了,要我跟那帮健壮的小妞们一起站着跳着骑那么久,真还是受不了。大腿早就已经麻木了,脚踝也不勘重负,酸得厉害。呼吸倒是没有问题,但是发现跑步锻炼出来的腿对付不了这么疯狂的骑车。每五分种换一个音乐,稍微坐下来骑一会,算是休息。每一个曲子都是我的一个slow torture

好在leader非常非常hot,尖锐的口号声非常有号召力。看看周围的几个的中年男人,大家都会意的苦笑,总不能在美女之前掉链子吧。

It would not hurt my knee, but would put more strain onto my ankle.
My legs are still sore and tense. I should do this twice a week to adjust myself from running too much on the treadmill.
come on, spinning is notoriously the easiest class one can take, since you can simply adjust your strength levels without others noticing a thing!

For you, it might be easy. But any one that has above average weight, it is hard to ride that thing without sitting down.

I didn't twist the resistance level to even 75% yet.

I think vieplivee is right. To ride efficiently, a good cyclist should keep high cadence, about 90 rpm at whichever gear he feels comfortable. This is very similar with 180 steps per minute for efficient running.

I read an article, saying bicycle and push ups and other exercises with similar motion are bad for people with an office job. They further weaken the back and reduce the length of many 韧带。

I cannot understand why the coach was calling 90% resistance from time to time.

That might means 90% of your own scale of resistance, not 90% of the maximum resistance. I was ashamed that I could not even work well with 50%.

I guess 90% or 100% of the maximum resistance is for reading a book when you ride the machine, as I always did in old time.

have never been to cycling class. I suspect the goal of that class is to train you to be a good cyclist.
