[Cssa-postdoc] THIS Friday "China Day" party and Karaoke contest [Free Dinner, 6pm Nov 12 at Ashdown]
Dear all,

It is the right time to celebrate our accomplishment in the first half of the semester, congratulate to the succeed of 2010 Expo in Shanghai, and welcome 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou. MIT CSSA cordially invite you to attend our ‘China Day’ party as well as our annual Karaoke contest in MIT dorm Ashdown on November 12 (Friday). Here is the detailed information about this event.

Date: November 12, 2010

Time: 6:00pm-11:00pm

Place: Ashdown Hulsizer room, 235 Albany St. Cambridge, MA 02139

Admission: Free for both MIT and non-MIT people

Attractions:

n Free authentic Chinese food (including snacks, drinks)
n Poster show about China’s development, 2010 Expo, etc
n Chinese cultural show
n Annual Karaoke Contest
n Free Karaoke after contest
n Card games (including poker, Texas Hold'em, Majiang, Sanguosha)
n Fantastic social enviornment to meet old and new friends in Greater Boston area

Free food:

We start to provide free authentic Chinese food from 6:00pm.

Karaoke Contest

This contest is a long-standing tradition of MIT Chinese community. Each year around 20 contestants enrolled in the event . Top contestants would be recognized and awarded. Here comes YOUR YEAR! Come join us in the contest! This is a great platform for you to demonstrate your talents and confidence!

Karaoke Contest Enrollment registration is closed now.

Free Karaoke:

We will do free Karaoke right after the contest ends.
