What kind of fertilizer do you use?

按照鲜花插牛粪的古训，我只用cow manure oops

home depot有卖的黄色大袋装的，就在卖土的section旁边。

说到这个，说个笑话。那日带RB去Home Depot买土，经过fertilizer的section，RB一路挺乖的边走边顺便嗅嗅，突然一个刹车，跳到一堆fertilizer袋上欢乐地狂滚。我定睛一看，原来是袋organic fertilizer。把我给笑死了。我又重复实验几遍，他还是不理别的fertilizer，只挑这个organic的滚。哎呀，这狗我是养着了呀！

话说那organic的里面是加了cow manure，所以RB这么喜欢。花园菜园里施cow manure的时候，我们都得把他栓好，否则他会想各种办法要冲到打开的牛粪袋里滚个一身"古龙味"。(cologne)

你不用Compost bin 自己做？不知这做出来味道大不大？

做的，但是自己做的compost量不够，所以还是会买牛粪。做compost的方法对就没啥味道。我们花园里有很多园子都有compost bin的，都没啥怪味。其实挺简单的，关键不要胡乱啥都加进去就可以了，尤其不能放任何烹调过的、荤的、或油的进去。

如果放剩饭菜和鱼肉骨头作compost，刚刚放进去那几天是臭的，过几天就不臭了，完全做好以后就真的不臭了，但是时间需要至少两个星期，天气凉的话，时间还需要多一些。

HD卖的干牛粪不臭的。用来种花种菜很不错。
我家以前种蒜苗都要先埋牛粪在土里。
现在搬家了，周围树太多，居然没有种菜的地方了。。。。可怜我的韭菜和香葱只能挤在车库旁的石头缝边上。

酱营养是好，但是会招大小动物，所以在园子里弄有难度。而且邻居也会complain的。。。 Laughing

有卖瓶装的fish那个啥，纯organic的，就是专门帮你发酵过的鱼的营养的液体，非常肥，只要倒一点点就有用。不过刚倒的第一天真的还是会有满重的臭鱼味，第二天就好了。怕恶心的不建议尝试哈。我是连菜场的鱼腥气都不能忍，所以这个东西LG全权负责handle。 smile

freestuff说的对的，home depot 卖的cow manure没有很重的味道，是已经发酵完毕的。气味还是稍稍有一点，很小，不碍事。

你家邻居不会是用的我上面刚贴的"鱼汤"吧？那个气味是满重的

I will get some cow manure. Can I use this on my indoor flower plants too? I always use Miracle gro for all my plants but I might switch to a better one.

I don't know what my neighbor put on the flowers but the smell lasts at least a week. Surprised

It has the same smell as walking on some fertilizing lawn.
