号称神曲，今年网路第一曲。好多人模仿，据说太复杂，没人学的会。
半天我也没听懂，最后百度了一下歌词，差点儿把我笑死！

用美国的原料，all purpose 面粉，dry yeast 试了几次，效果不是很理想。就是掌握不好比例。

这几天在一个老外的forum上打嘴仗，使出浑身解数维护中国人是个诚实（honest）的民族等等。嘴仗打赢了，杀得老外一败涂地，再没有人跟我叫板了。
今天去中国城的中国超市买菜。买了一只整鸡，想回家炖汤就拿到卖肉的柜台让他们给剁成小块。他们弄完了装到袋子里给我了。拿回家一看，咦，一只整鸡怎么只有一只鸡腿和翅膀！ 
怪不得当时有个顾客大姐劝我拿回家自己剁。哎。。中国人啊中国人。
中国超市以后还是免了吧。

ok first see if you can pronounce it, is that even a word? 
this is a movie about religion.
do you know 16% of American are non-religious, more than any other minority in this country? ( black is about 12% sth. ) While all the others fuss about their life, gay, black ….. all these people have been kept themselves quiet.
I didn't know.

这几天在倒时差，不过心情很舒畅，也没耽误看奥运。这几天到处走了一走，国内的变化真的是很大。如果中国照这样的速度和精神风貌发展下去一定会是世界上最棒的！
随便看了几篇外电的文章和报道，觉得大部分是好的。但同时也觉得那些写中国坏话的人真的是没有头脑，也没有道德涵养，不值得与他们理论。在这里的中国的媒体报道都从来不讲任何外国运动员和媒体的坏话，而且总是说友好待人，当好东道主等。
这次总共有200多万的人们报名当志愿者服务奥运。大街上都设有他们的服务点儿。我还向他们问了两次路。说是在的奥运会还是给老百姓的日常生活带来了很多不便。车分单双日行。街道时常总戒严禁通行，毕竟有80十多个国家的元首在这里，再加上各个奥运场馆，204个国家的运动员比赛交通等。但是我没听到老百姓有任何怨言，大家讲起来都是支持奥运。

好不容易盼到回家了，想给侄儿带个礼物。经哥哥点化听说国内篮球巨热。想到Celtics多年不景气，今年好不容易得了national champion，来自Boston正好带个Celtics的礼物俱佳。
于是大中午的跑到 pro shop 去寻宝。店内好几个服务员，个个懒洋洋的无所事事。其中一个带酒糟鼻的白人离我最近，于是就问他“听说Celtics的三名将，家累得，皮尔斯，科呀论，你知不知道哪一个代表美国队去Olympic？”他眼皮不抬的说：“谁也不去！” 我说：“那NBA的nationa champion派谁去吗？”他扭了扭酒糟鼻说：“以前去过Olympic, 今年不去！”  
转过头来大屏幕电视再讲新闻，播音员得意洋洋说： 布什要去中国了，准备跟中国领导人谈人权问题！ 
回来一路上气哼哼，想一想难到花钱找罪受？ 想一想那些Texas的同事人都真好，怪不得姚明去Rockets。

这几天修车，保险公司就给了我一辆 Nissan hybrid 开几天。
这车有意思，首先开车不用钥匙。只要按个按钮车就启动了。钥匙只是做一做样子放在口袋，或包里就行了。车子的内部设计总好像是个很电动的感觉。这儿哪儿的都是按钮什么的。有一种开着 golf cart 的感觉。
车子驾驶起来和一般的车子好像没有什么太大的区别。跑高速还行。不过我开的不够快，回头拉到高速上超超速再说！

Now another day here it comes Christmas. I've been seeking and still wondering every year when this day comes. How does Christmas day become the biggest holiday of the year? Yes, it is a religious holiday, and yes, many faiths in this country, and yes, the principle of reserved holiday would be everybody in the nation benefit from it...
Greeting cards piled up at front door. At this sunny morning of Christmas day, open up the mail box, a card with Santa dancing pops out, ah, from China! So they are celebrating Christmas there too!
Radio is on, a subject of celebrating Christmas with different faith. Jews,and others, and then about all the Jews go to Chinese restaurant on Christmas day! Kind of hilarious of how would a strict Jew eat shrimp in lobster sauce in a Chinese restaurant on Christmas day!
However after all, is Christmas still religious holiday?!

The English Language
Have you ever wondered why foreigners have trouble with the English Language?
Let's face it
English is a stupid language.
There is no egg in the eggplant
No ham in the hamburger
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
English muffins were not invented in England
French fries were not invented in France.
We sometimes take English for granted
But if we examine its paradoxes we find that
Quicksand takes you down slowly
Boxing rings are square
And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.
If writers write, how come fingers don't fing.
If the plural of tooth is teeth
Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth
If the teacher taught,
Why didn't the preacher praught.
If a vegetarian eats vegetables
What the heck does a humanitarian eat!?
Why do people recite at a play
Yet play at a recital?
Park on driveways and
Drive on parkways
You have to marvel at the unique lunacy
Of a language where a house can burn up as
It burns down
And in which you fill in a form
By filling it out
And a bell is only heard once it goes!
English was invented by people, not computers
And it reflects the creativity of the human race
(Which of course isn't a race at all)
That is why
When the stars are out they are visible
But when the lights are out they are invisible
And why it is that when I wind up my watch
It starts
But when I wind up this observation,
It ends.
