Hi all,

I'm new to this site, quite interested in Boston and probably move here a few years late, still looking around, lol...

Just ask some quite basic questions here and hope some people could give me a hand, really appreciate it!

1. Which city or cities have the most similar climate with Zhengzhou? If u r not familiar with Zhengzhou, just pick up Beijing instead.

2. As a undergraduate student who has a double-bachelor degree, Bachelor of Management (Awarded in China) and Bachelor of Science (Awarded in Australia), which grade u prefer to give for him to find a job related to Science in Boston or other medium-size cities in America in a rank of ten (1 is guaranteed to get a job and 10 is impossible to get a job at all) ?

3. What's the average price for a house (about 3 bedrooms and 400 square meters) in Boston metropolitan area, about 20 kms away form town center in the last 3 years.

4. If u would like to stay in America permanently, which city is your most favourite?

Just would like to get a general idea about Boston or America, so please say anything you would like to say without any hesitating and all what u say are highly welcome and appreciated!

Thanks guy!

1. Washington DC or central California is more like Zhengzhou in latitude.

2. It depends. If you have experience and good reference in Australia, I will say you have about 80% or higher if you can work here legally.

3. Price may varies from $300k to $10,000k, depending on location, school, lot size, house style and quality.

4. No answer. Even I have an answer, it won't apply to you.

Boston area is more like Liaoning or Jilin. It not huge and not small. It has four seasons. It's a historic city. It's beautiful in Fall. It has famous universities. But if you hate heavy snow, you won't like Boston.

1. Zhengzhou is more like Memphis, TN, I think. An in-land traffic hub in the middle of the country...

Thanks Rogerlee and iDen.

I did check the latitude today, Boston is quite similar to Changchun. It's not too bad.

Sea and snow are part of my life but i never have both of them at the same time. Still striving, wish it wont take too long...lol

The probability for job hunting is really very helpful, thanks again.
