PEKING UNIVERSITY ALUMNI PICNIC GATHERING

ASSOCIATION OF PEKING UNIVERSITY ALUMNI OF NEW ENGLAND

When: 12:00 Noon - 6:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2008 (rain date: 9/7)

Where: The Blue Hills Reservation, Milton, MA

Who: All Beida alumni (anyone has ever studied or worked in Peking
University, including former Beijing Medical University), their
families, their significant others, and their friends.

What: To have a BBQ picnic with your fellow Beida alumni, to find old
friends, to meet new friends, to chat, to play, to reminisce,
to dream, and to have fun. Activities include hiking,
swimming, Frisbee, volleyball (bring your own), etc.
You are also welcome to bring your favorite dishes or dessert.

Cost: $5 per adult to cover the food, payable onsite. Kids free.

Registration: Pre-registration is required as we have to make the
reservation and purchase food. To register, send email to
Xia Ling <lingxia@mit.edu> with your name and the number of
people in your party.

Carpool: If you can offer or need a ride, please provide your
cellphone number, address and number of seats you can offer
or need in your registration.

Please register by Wednesday, September 3. Our reserved picnic table location inside the park and other details, as well as the rain date announcement will be send to pre-registered parties.

我在这儿喊一嗓子吧.

这次回去见北大同学和校友, 挺感动的. 大家挺团结像个大家庭, 觉得我们这边好象有点儿太个人主义太散漫.

从前, flyinsky想努力把大家联系在一起, 那个时候还没有这种意识. 他做了半天响应不众, 可能有些失望. 现在有想法, 希望重新点把火再试试.

好象好不容易才有这么一次活动, 能去的争取去吧?

而北大都没有人组织
北大的人就是相对懒散
